About Little graveyards in old mining towns are always a source of interesting sights. I never could figure out who was buried here so I just guessed. Shot from tripod with mirror locked up. PS used for cropping only. Slide scanned at Nelson Photo, San Diego, CA.

You are probably right Todd. It certainly would have helped with background. Thanks!!!

Please consider this a standing offer. When ever you are able to get over here, we'll make something marvelous happen. You'll see things the natives don't even know exist. On the flip side, the next time I get to Yokohama I'll be in touch.

That's a wonderful invitation, George, but I am too busy trying to keep my little company afloat and generate enough income to keep my kids in college to afford holidays... hasn't had one for a couple of years, believe it or not! Just show us the results: that will be almost as good as going!!

Earlier this year I bought the last 20 rolls that my favorite photo shop (so crassly promoted above) had in stock. I also got the last of their film mailers. When I contacted the last remaining Kodak lab in the country, they informed me that they would handle the K-14 processing for the next six years. Next summer my son and I will be making a vacation circuit through the four corner states with an intense goal of capturing most of the known and many of the unknown photo sites. I intend to use the remaining 19 rolls of ASA 64 Kodachrome and the 15 rolls of ASA 25 Kodachrome given to me a month ago. It should be quite a trip. Care to join in?

Kodachrome 64 takes some handling but it does repay the effort. Nice one, George. Do you have much left? You soon won't be able to buy it or get it processed anywhere...
