Actually a polarizer WAS used for that shot (CP=circular polarizer). However, it was used to enhance the sky, not remove the reflections. The color/brightness of the water was enhanced via CorelPhotoPaint's brightness function.

I'm really not too happy with this photo, and the more I look at it, the less happy I get. The post-processing is much too visible. Next time the Sea Cloud calls in Grenada, I'm going to try and get a better shot :-).
