Very beautiful scenery, well composed image. The only nitpick could be the slightly out of focus rock in the foreground, but thats a minor point. Like it very much !

hey, great shot from the Merced River. The coloring is wonderful and really bring out the flavor of Yosemite. I haven't been down there for a few years..so it is nice to see again. 20 years ago i did routes on El Capitan so this brings back memories...thanks

Very beautiful shot Rob, from the foreground all the way to the distant trees and mountains.
Love the reflection in the water, but it's so neat how clear the water is, and you've captured it very well!!!
Good job, Have a GR8 day/evening, Lori :)

Wonderful point of view. The rock in the foreground just leads your eyes out to the rest of the picture. It's so beautiful, the water is so clear. It's great that after all these years places like this still exist as they were hundreds of years ago.

John...thanks for the feedback...just to let you know though...NO PS magic here. The only thing I did was to do Auto Contrast in the Channels. The Sigma SD10 has amazing detail and color when it has good lighting. :) I am not very good with PS...skill are very, very limited. Thanks! BTW...your work is stunning! I will definitely take a critque from you any day! If you had an email posted I would send you the Original Pre-Upload Shot so that you could see. :)

Thanks Rossano, what a great compliment! I love my Canon...don't get me wrong...but I love my Sigma for Landscape shots with good lighting...it's colors & clarity are great...it just performs bad in low light...that or it is the operator....LOL!

that's really beautiful. Is that Yosemite? I just came back from a vacation there and really loved it.
The relfection in the water really adds a lot to the whole image. Creates a wonderful overall combination of colors. I also like how you included the rock in the foreground to give it a little more depth. Great work, I will have to check out the rest of your portfolio now!

Great capture of this beautiful scene. I like the vertical orientation of this version. The foreground adds a lot with the bolder left in extreme foreground and the bottom visible through the water.

A picture of two halves Rob. Strong contrast in the water but the lower contrast in the mountains make the PS work too obvious. A postcard shot that may be improved with slightly less staurated colours, especially the blues. Just MHO. Regards John
