Yup, the magic of this image is in the eyes, yet that's not all you've brought into the whole. A significant element in the eye's expression are the eyebrows, like two arches that, depending on the curvature, say different. The power of these eyebrows, which add so much to the language of the eyes, is reinforced by the top of the shirt (the curvature on his back) and moreover by the gentle curvature of whatever it is his hands are deliberately holding on to. Great sepia tones add to the strong message. Superb photography Susie ... just great!!! ...Gab
