Another well composed image. I like the way his wings form a diagonal from one corner to the other, while his body forms a diagonal from the opposite corners. A very good choice for a square format crop.

You have really outdone yourself with this one Darlene - it is so perfect - it has to go to my favourites so I can keep looking at it, and taking in the exceptional detail. The whole composition colours/background etc really set it off to show the bird at it's most beautiful 10++++++++

I do enjoy sharing my images on UF and a couple other sites, I also print some of my images for my friends and family. And I do have some framed in a few of my friends offices.....that's what it's all about to me. I have sold some pictures but I do not go out and market my images, I want to keep it fun and not make it into a job, I just love to watch the birds and photograph them and learn about them. It is very good theraphy for me! Darlene

Darlene, I think this Bird is breathtaking!
I saw one at the lake in Prescott over the weekend and tried to get a good shot. Wish I knew how. even with a tripod it still comes out fuzzy.
Can you give me any tips or advice?
