Gustav, Thanks for the comment on the flower image - much appreciated. You are right, the lens does not have a 1.4 f-stop. When I selected the lens type, it did not have a 2.8 setting... So, I just picked one... Sorry for the confusion. BTW, I really enjoy your macro work with flowers - great stuff and inspiring for me... Your work is the reason I got the 100 macro lens (to take the summer florals). So, thank you for sharing your work here... Cheers! Sam

Excellent macro image with very fine colors. At the same time I do miss something really sharp in the flower. No intention to offend you, just my honest opinion. I do use the same Canon lens 100mm f/2.8 and wonder how you arrive at an aperture of f/1.4.... Keep up the good work. Kind regards, Gustav
