About	I've been feeling the appeal of B&W very strongly again, recently. This is a rather "busy" image in colour. Monotone allows the pattern of light and dark and the contrasts between natural and man-made shapes and textures to show up better, I think. As is so often the case, it's my Helios (Russian) lens that seems to give the best results in B&W. This is an emulation of Kodak Tri-X with a green filter.

I see what you mean, Cessy--the leaves are so white. Actually they were light yellow-green, and the filter made them look even lighter. One of these days I will try IR film... Thanks for your comment.
