Exquisite skyscape, great B&W. The only thing I would try out is a sacrifice of most of the street, because I don`t think the foreground (except the railing) adds so much to the image.

Hi Antonio, great shot with a very foreboding sky! I like the contrast range you have achieved here. By the way many thanks for your comment. Jeff Alu is a photogrpaher that i came across in the internet and he uses a very extreme technique to achieve some wonderful effects with black and white. That was what i was trying to do. The imperfection is because i used a Polfilter. i now realise that if i am to dodge and burn à la Jeff Alu then i don't need the Polfilter as this causes a gradient whcih is difficult to counteract. I'm going to repeat this comment on my own photo in case anyone else is interested in the technique. it is not a thing i usually do or like doing, i believe one should always go to the other persons portfolio to reply and say thanks, only posting on their own photo if the answer pertains to the photo, as in this case. Alas i'm in the minority here in Usefilm :)
