I bought the D70 as soon as it came out @ London Drugs as a trial run. You can return it up to 15 days later....so... i went out to shoot with it and knew within the first 100 shots that it was going to have to be a keeper by whatever means. I have looked back it has been absolutly fantastic. My wife has old Nikon lens that fit as well so Dbl the bonus, although i use the kit lens most of the time.

Hahahha, this is well seen, and well captured. It's straight out of a B horror flick (okay, maybe a Hollywood horror flick as I don't see a zipper!)

Some very interesting roots, they seem to be larger than the tree they are attached to. And the background is amazing, the color of blue, and the rippling of the water add so much beauty. Well done~

Love this scene, so peaceful.

Can I ask you something? Do you run your shots through Photoshop and adjust levels, hue & saturation etc., or are they straight from your D70. If the latter, would you mind sharing what settings you use? Your pictures are always of such great clarity!

This image is gorgeously beautiful .. a postcard! ... a perfect hyperfocal, super dof. And I'm amazed at the tree root as it rises from behind the brown-yellow mound like fingers in a hand .. and that tree is like a bonsai. Love the reflections in the placid waters, the mountain-scape, and that diverse array of clouds ... Great photography Tim ....Gab
