About What can one say about the biggest terrorist attack in Egypt's history that took place at Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea just hours ago. Sure to be way over 100 dead and 200 wounded. My heart goes out to all the victims - Arabs, Jews, Europeans (so far those are the only groups identified) and also to the worderful Egyptian people who will now suffer once again with a major drop in tourism and a loss of tens of thousands of jobs. This will just create more tension and anger which is exactly what the terrorists want. It didn't have to go this way (people that know me know where I stand and what I think) Enough said..........

Mark, I totally share your feelings on this, and you probably knew that already.

I wish we could spend another 2 minutes of silence to honour the deaths of all the innocent Egyptians, Jews, Europeans, Muslims and whatever other nationality... but if we did that every time an innocent soul was killed in the name of this or that metaphor, we might as well stop working altogether.

Yes. It's very sad. *moment of silence*

I think the big question is why is the Red Sea so blue?

What a beautiful scene, it seems that I?ll be happy with our hot summer this year, I suppose to be in Europe two weeks ago, but the London explosion delayed my travel, then decided to go next moth to Egypt and exactly to Sharm Al sheikh, and look what happened. It is different thinking over the situation, I do condemn what is going on every where by killing innocent peoples, but IMO we can not ignore it and say just terrorist at the end of the day it is a political issue!

You have the 70-200 Image stabilized lens? I'm reeeealy jealous (piling that new jealousy on top of all those places you've visited).

This image is very strong, with a great sense of scale.
