Great shot Carol - love the use of B&W and the feelings between them seems wonderful. Well done on your spotting - are they your kids?

nice framing, but the little girl is quite dark and I think you either need to adjust levels or lighten her up a bit, Carol.

What a beautiful poem and an image to match. I like how you put them off to the side...it really enhances the mood.

This is a beautiful image Carol, very emotional. It's interesting how you didn't centre the girls more, but I keep feeling my eye drawn to them. A great sign of solidarity in an otherwise bleak, empty sort of landscape.

Moody, serene, yet melancholy. There is something about a cloudy sky over huge bodies of water that makes me feel...alone. Goes great with some "Terminal Frost" by Pink Floyd. I love the composition in this. Normally, I'm not fond of horizons being in the middle of the image. I prefer them placed closer to the bottom on sea-shots. However, in this image, it's all about the people on the left, and they're very well placed as to round out the picture quite nicely. Well done! :)
