Thanks Guido! I was gonna go look at your stuff then come back and reply to this comment, but when I took a look, I realised I'm gonna have to set aside a lot more time to look through your work. You've got some amazing stuff posted on this site. I'll take some time and look through properly. There were heaps on your page screaming out for me to look at them properly. Amazing work! Thank you very much for the comment. I'll be leaving a few on yours soon!

Yeah I think I'll take Marco's advise and maybe a lower angle and to the right a bit. But you never get it quite the same again eh?

This is our first, but hopefully not last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm", Mr. Donovan. In your bio you wrote that were are a novice to photography, learning it the hard way, but your photos show me that you are already well developed as one. I looked through your portfolio and found a BIP + SC on my way as well as many other excellent photos in B&W and in color. Your photos show me that you live in New Zealand and your "Don't eat the camera" spoke of a sense of humor. Recently you seem to have concentrated on stage photos and judging by the photo of yourself you put on your page, you are also a musician. I finally opted to comment on this photo, not just because it was the last photo you posted and hence the first one I saw, but also because I liked very much the way you conveyed the concept of loneliness in a simple sillhuette. Simplicit, I've been told many times, is one of the secrets of beauty in art. You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my portfolio. In the meantime I thank you for your kind comments on my "Luna di Luna" and "Mauve castel." Best regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann

Very dramatic shot! I like both composition and silhouette. I think it was much impressive if the elbow was visible.
Ciao Marco
