Bertram, I love the Fuji 200 emlusion every time I use it, a lovely film with clear, pure colours and good latitude for shadow detail. But I have to confine it to my Widelux. It's too slow for my shaky old hands... And you're right about the 400. Sometimes I get a rather "dry" look woth the 400 which is not so nice. That never happens with 800, but as you say in dim light it can look a little "off."

George, I'm not much with PS... I use freeware utilities for perspective correction. There was a half-degree rotation to the left and a five degree upward tilt on this, so the verticals were not quite right. The shareware allows correction of yaw, tilt and roll all at the same time as the removal of the fisheye distortion. The colour is virtually untouched Fuji Superia 800--a perfectly typical look for this emulzion. I very slightly boosted saturation as it was overcast and the colours were rather subdued.

Great colour composition, very nice street shot !
800 again visibly differenT from 400. I used the Fuji neg films alot, maybe this sharpened my eyes ? At the time I am back on 200. I wonder when I will be at 100 ? :-))

Hi Roger! I am really curious as to how you shoot in such tight quarters with a lens of such short focal length and don't get the gross effect of the buildings leaning inward. Do you correct this with Photoshop? I'm really impressed with color you get out of your film. Do you have to do much tweaking in PS to get it this way?

Hi Roger... Reading the about I had to check the Modern Tokyo series, and I do like the huge differences in feel. Very unforced and "ordinary" as in the view of ervery day life doing chores such as getting groceries or picking up stamps.... Also the colourful street with its signs creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Good job!
