I was reading your "about" on this photo and saw that you mentioned that you hoped that you could catch what was visually there. I just learned a new trick from someone here on UF on how to get your blue skies bluer.
If you have a photo program (Photo Shop, Photo Studio, etc) that has an option for tone adjustment, you can increase the colors to make them look more like what you saw.
I have ArcSoft Photo Studio 5.5. With my program I increase the saturation ever so slightly, decrease the midtone and shadow a little bit and then increased the hightlight some (highlight, midtone and shadow are all under tone adjustment in my program).
Anyway, I know that I was fustrated about not getting the true color I wanted and I was so excited to learn that little trick. I thought I might pass it on to you. I did a small adjustment on this photo, I hope you don't mind.
