my May and June we very trying times as my first year teaching public school in a poor urban school ended with many fights and awful experiences with children that were so sad.
Now I am recouperated and trying to make the most of summer while attending mandatory teacher education classes. I hope you find the summer brings improvement for you as well :-)
Studying anthropology is over-rated. you are a natural anthropologist, we all are! Just read books about humans and digest it all. To be fair, I guess the theories and professors are great also, but usually books like National Geographic stuff and specialized texts are intense anthropology experiences...
