I agree. It is a little generic with the flower exactly in the center. I'll have to do a little cropping when I get some extra time. I asked around a bit at my office and found out that it is called Clematis. Thanks for your feedback!

This is a beautiful photo, Leanne. I don'w know the name of the flower, but you have captured a nice macro of it.

If I could make one sugestion, it would be to crop out some of the lower part of the photo, where there is a blemish on the petal. This would also make the central part of the flower a bit more off-center.
