About	Another shot from my first portrait session. Critiques are really sought...and I'm thick-skinned, so please let me know how to improve future sessions. Oh, I guess it worth noting that I only had my Canon 640 Speedlight, bounced off the wall next to her, and had a gold reflector behind her to soften the shadows. EV set at -.6

Beautiful lighting on this lovely lady. Maybe the eyes are looking a bit too high and a little too far out of the picture. I have taken some of the red out. I like you nice close cropping. A trick that you can do is tip your camera either right or left when taking the picture, this will give the model a little motion to the pose. Hope you understand what I mean. Don.

Looks like she's watching the end of the world....my least favorite of the 3 but if these are your first attempt with lighting they're not bad - much better than my first attempt. I would get a pro set up like 2 monoblocks or a small powerpack with 2 lights (you can save money getting a kit) I like Speedatron (blackline) but there's other good brands....Let me know, oh, you need a handheld flash lightmeter too (I would go with Sekonic)....
