You want to make a statement about lack of balance in marriage?

The angle is unusual and I like the feeling of total abandonment after tossing aside the bouquet of flowers and the shoes as the newlyweds venture into a new world yet to be discovered. Excellent overall composition
Marvelous work!

Thanks Dina...maybe it is because there's a horizon included? I dunno.

I am usually one for angles but this one seems too tilted.... I must not be crooked enough ;-) Nice idea....

Thanks for your comments Neil. Well the flip flops WERE very white and they are not over exposed. The jpeg artifacts may be from resizing for web as they are not in my orignal full resolution file. We had a lot of fun. Small wedding party and lots of fun locations to shoot. The groom and best man are both decked out in the full scottish attire. I'll post one soon of the wedding party. Thanks for your comments.

I like the angle and the story this photo seems to tell. It's a very interesting and emotive photo.
And I love that he's wearing a kilt too!
Also, I just noticed they're both tilting their heads which in effect, with the angle you've taken it at, are now straight.

Hi Louise, Cool angle. Not really a photo that would attract me in the first instance, if i'm being honest :) But your comment to me brought me to your portfolio and to your website (very, very nice) So here i am commenting on a wedding photo.
Love the angle and the way to flip flops and bouquet appear to be just left behind. I guess the couple have other things on their minds. From a technical POV, but i'm hardly qualified to comment on that. I can see a couple of jpeg artifacts around the groom and it's a little unfortunate that the flip flops are soooo white, they lose a little detail - IMHO! What makes the photo for me is the groom wearing a Kilt :) Nice work, my compliments Best wishes from Switzerland Neil
