About You always see the outside so here's the inside. The Pyramid entrance to the Musee du Louvre. Designed by the great Architect I.M. Pei (my favorite) and went into operation in 1989. I remember the Louvre without the Pyramid and I just thought it was brilliant when this newly designed entrance was put in. A wonderful juxtaposition of the classic architecture of the museum and ultra modern design of the pyramid. PS used to go from color to B / W and darken it up a bit to give it a slightly "spooky look" (cause everything's Spooky these days) - slight crop

Dear Angelo, you think I know how to do that? I'm lucky I can go from color to B / W - give me 6 months. I have to get back out on the road and shoot some more brfore all our airlines go into bankruptcy (it's obvious the Dollar is gonna stay weak for a long time still and I've kinda been waiting on a change there). This sorting out shots stuff is for the birds. Anyway, thanks for the advice - I'm suppose to see my old assistant this week, maybe he can show me how to do that. Take Care, Mark

Nice alternate view of this beautiful place, Mark.

I think one thing you might have tried in PS would be to increase the contrast in the pyramid part, at least, to make the highlights brighter. As it is, it's a bit murky.

Very cool image Mark,
another thing I have never seen. You certainly have traveled a lot, how fortunate you are!

So, through you photos I'm really seeing a lot and learning of some new things. (Like I.M. Pei) Have to look him up!

Good eye, good view,
Lori ;)
