About	A more sombre capture this time; this is the Underground Hospital in Guernsey, built by the Germans during the war. Loads of German troops were brought here from France the day after D-Day. There are loads on names scribbled on the wall, but I do not know the history behind that. Fill-in Flash was used as the lighting was very poor.

Ciprian, you have a varied and very ineresting portfolio but this image in particular stood out... You have done a terrific job of capturing the haunting and sombre feel of this place. This is a tremendously powerful image and the stark white of the flash is very in keeping not only with the clinical white we associate with hospitals but also the whiteness of the deceased who would have inhabited this mortuary. Very powerful and haunting. How has this not won an award?
