About I took this picture when most of the diasies in the vase were just about dead. This one seemed to keep on going though. It was droopy, but the bloom was still beautiful. Toned and soft focus applied in PSP.

Laurie - love this shot too. What a wonderful effect you applied. It does feel hopeful. I find myself routing for the flower to pop back up. :)

Wonderfull image Laurie. The sepia tone is fantastic as so is the framing and the soft focus.

Beautiful soft focus shot Laurie.... Sounds like you need to get your husband to buy you another bunch of flowers!!!!

Love the composition on this - the diagonal of the stem works really well to emphasise the opposite diagonal of the plane of the flower. Well done!

Beautiful Laurie, I love this composition and presentation. Very nicely titled as well..These flowers have a delicate and very beautiful look to them, I like the petals and the way they gently curve down...wonderfully done....beautifully presented...:):)Linda

You put a great deal of symbolism into this ostensibly simple flower photo, dear Laurie.
Thank you for your very kind words about my "Portrait of a friend."
Best regards,
Rafi
