About On a drab rainy day my son and I decided to take a drive and ended at the bridge to Marco Island. As he fished in the pouring rain I took shots from my car for fear of damaging my camera. Love when the pelicans fly right above the water. Yellow building is Marco Yacht club.

Michele, Rechargeables are the way to go. The ones I have are on the expensive side, but they take only 15 mins to charge which makes them worth their weight in gold. Thanks very much for your comment. Marilyn

Thanks for the tip on my sand castle using Photo Shop ( PS ?) to give the sky some color would definitely make the castle stand out soo much better ! I was so happy to find this on a Sunday morning on Boca Raton beach, Fl. I didn't even think about the entire photgraph being grey....

I feel exactly like You I love to hear wonderful comments like Yours , and all others too. I have learned more from this web site than I ever have ! My experience in photgraphy is totally from the book of the camera I am using at the time, and making sure I have it with me most always!

This is a great picture you caught with the 5 pelicans... You are very quick and good.
The birds are centered perfect ! I love it too Marilyn. Thanks for sharing ! One more thing... I too have a simular camera... Mine is not as good a lens as yours but it's a Fugi Fine PixA205 . It was not expensive and does everything ok . My problems with it are the constant use of AA batteries, and the so called zoom is a joke. ... Are you happy with your model ? And do you have this problem or just re-charge your own battries?
I am looking for a new camera !
Thank You ,
Michele Carlsen

Quick on the draw here Marilyn. Cool capture. I'd love to see just one Pelican, how fortunate to see 5 at once.

Lovely photograph Marilyn, I was fishing all last week on a lovely little farm pond.

Got lots of fish but unfortunately the majority of bites came from mosquitos and I think the mozzies won on this occasion !

Best wishes,
Steve
