I really like this image, Guy. Great sense of perspective, and also of movement --- I feel as if I am travelling down this road.
I also like the grainy look of the HP5. It gives the image a nice "old fashioned" look. These days of shooting digital, once has to "add" this kind of atmosphere and it seldom looks "true".

I think your doing EXTREMELY well. I don't looks like you've been doing B&Ws for years and years.

Beautiful scenery, I like the lead in line of the road that takes the eye to the rest of the image, like the weathered structure on the left too. Just my opinion Guy but I believe the image would be better off with the red filter alone because if you'll notice the cloud on the left is dark compared to the right including the horizon in the background, other than that a good composition. Thanks much for your recent comment, cheers & best wishes.

Your B&W photos are very well done. Normally, I don't care for B&W very much. I like yours quite a bit.

Thank you very much for your comment Antonio I appreciate it a lot. The reason of the grain it is because the film I am using, a Ilford HP5 Plus 400. It is more grainy. Best regards Guy

As always, a brilliant B&W. Love the way the road is all broken up, gives it a certain "Ancient vs New"look.

splendid scenery and good tone for this BW but I do not like the sort of grain which is visible, do not know why

The best image I have seen for today. Too bad the road is too "modern". Anyway the tone and composition are excellent.
