I'm addicted to these free-view, cross-over 3D images, especially macros.
Best viewed full size and about 5 feet from the screen. Hit F11 to get the full image.
NEWCOMERS TO 3D CROSS-OVERS.
To view this image in 3D (it really is worth the effort)look at the middle of your screen from a distance of about 6 inches and go cross-eyed (just like when you did at junior school). Now stay cross-eyed while moving directly backwards away form the screen. At a distance of about two feet your eyes will suddenly "go funny" and then the 3D image will pop into view.
Now keeping focus on the new image move further back until you are comfortable with it.
You are allowed to laugh out loud, everyone does first time they "click" with cross-over 3D. You may need to try it two or three times before success.
Once you have the 3D image inview, it can be more comfortable in the early days to bring your hands in from either side to mask the two outer none-3D images.
Thanks for your comments. What I particularly like about this image is that in 2D it is a hopeless mess, but in 3D the layers and details all separate into their rightful places and it all becomes comprehensible.
that is amazing,. reminds me of those posters we had years ago, going cross eyed to see the 3d pic, but this is much easier to get the 3d , excellent,. well played,. good macro,. regards art,.
