I like this tree and how you have used it in the composition. The colours on the subject are excellent, satuturated and with detail. The subject and tree trunk are also placed wel;l in the left third. Sometime location can be everything even beter with a well thought idea. A pleasure to share. Cheers my friend, Gerhardt

I think it is a great picture...the branches , the shadows, the whole composition is good....at least to me...another amateur...!!

Rodotheos....it is not the camera that you use, but the person using the camera. You have a good eye, you just need to practise to get your own unique style. It takes time....nobody can tell you right or wrong. One day somebody will say to you that you have a great style...and then you will know.

Thanks Judi and I hope you get well soon. To be honest you don't need to rush to check my work. There isn't any special photograph around. I'm learning at the moment and I have just a compact Sony camera.

Dr Luv, this one has been retuched in PS in a way to get that shadow result. I added a filter. In the original one I had focused on the model not in the center. Thanks for your comment, which I have taken into account. Master Theo.

Hi theo,
i like the picture but it is overall too dark. The camera should have measured the light on you, like that you would have been correctly exposed. It seems the camera measured exposure in the center of the image which is just behind the tree. At that point the image is correctly exposed.
Next time you might want to make sure you point at yourself so that the camera makes the correct measurement or else you can always use curves in photoshop to get a brighter image.
