I use a Canon Powershot G2.
It can be used as a point and shoot, and sometimes I use it as such. But I prefer to have more control over the images.

Hi lori!!! How are you! I need some advice on wedding photography, a friend of mine want me and another friend to photograph her wedding day, the thing is I?ve NEVER photographed weddings and im scared sh**less
What if I screwed up!!! The weddings here are done at night so I would have to get lights and flashes, I?ve wanted to get some for a long time now and need some suggestions of what equipment to get, I have to get a fill light right?
And because you?ve done over 300 weddings I couldn?t think of anyone else!!!
HELP pleaseee! :(

For me, photography is all about the lighting. For me this is an excellent example of lighting. The background has a great DOF that draws your attention to the flower. Excellent composition. I can't tell from your info....did you enhance it in photoshop or is this the actual lighting? What is even more amazing is that I believe this is a point and shoot camera, right? Fabulous!

...very nice sunrise,Lori...I must wait another two weeks till my garden the sunrises...I love cacti and from this has two pieces the quite 25 years old and full buds are...now the blossom is to be seen very nicely already...great macro!

Am always attracted to those tiny cactus flowers, the flower has the petals almost transparent, with strong natural colour, I like your placement and the excellent dof, superb floral shot. Saeed
