The water droplets give them that fresh look. I visited one of my favorite rose gardens today but have not down loaded yet to see what I got. Del.

Hi Dorothy, I should have written 28-80mm. As far as I know, Canon doesn't make a 28-75. You can try KEH.com for excellent used lenses. They have several 28-80 and 28-90 lenses for less than $80. I have bought two used lenses from them and am well satisfied. One a Pentax and the latest a Canon 75-300mm 4-5.6. I'll visit your portfolio and have a look at your photos.

You will love it Rebecca. Canon makes a fine product, really the only reason I use Nikons is that they seem to fit my big hands better. The best piece of advice I have ever received on photography certainly applies here. "Read the little book that came with your camera, there is important stuff in there!" I was surprised on how much I learned about the D70 from the manual. And I thought the F80 was pretty much the same! How wrong could I be. Hahahaha.

You shoot roses, I shoot the Collingwood Terminal. It is interesting how much you can learn about photography and our equipment, by shooting a subject we love under various conditions. By the way Rebecca, when did you get the D-Rebel????

A very beautiful rose shot with the raindrops adding to it. Is the Rebel a new camera for you? If so, I know you gonna love it. I picked up a Rebel film camera off of ebay which I'll use to satisfy my urges to still use film. My thought was to have digital and film cameras that use the same lenses but can't use my EF-S on my Rebel. Will have to shop for a 28-75mm lens for the Rebel.
