Yes Sue I can see it only just though,the stone work is good!!!!!! and stands out well against the dark back ground.The colour stands out well Sue. I dont know how you could visit Edlingham in the middle of the night with all those ghosts around woooooooow!!!! excellent pic Sue well done.

Hi Galal... thanks for the comment.
This is a fortified house not far from Alnwick... It would have been fortified to protect from invasion from the Scotts... alas there is not that much standing now... just the foundations and a big part of the main keep.
I have tried looking this one up here on the net, however there is not a great deal of information to find. We visited this castle one night for a ghost vigil & a few strange things were picked up... though nothing too spinechilling.
Apart from that I'm afraid I don't know that much... if anyone else reading this does know more of the history of the place please leave a posting with details... I, for one, would be very interested to find more out about the place.
