The relaxed poses of the figures take on a diagonal line that is reinforced by the angle of the automobiles ? well, that's the way I see it, anyway. The casual shared conversation, the relaxed demeanors and pastel colors are contrasted against the more severe forms of the city.
I'm sorry for your loss of your dog. I will be facing that prospect soon, too, with my Husky, Blue.

Luce divina e buono il momento colto. Condivido anche la composizione perchè ci lascia intravedere il contesto in cui si godevano questo "solicino"...

The curves of the cars (and their colours) are not nearly as attractive as those of the young women! The poses are complementary and very natural. I would probably have cropped very closely around the figures, because parts of the cars would have worked just as well (and maybe would have concentrated attention on the two women). Complimenti!
