About Last one of the 'reds'! Oh, I DO HAVE MANY MORE, but I'll not run them into the ground...(hmm...is that possible?)

I do wish the tree in the foreground wasn't smack in the center...oh well, pretend it's off to the side; whichever side you like!!

HOpe you're all having a GR8 day or evening!

Those white spots you see are people's homes, can you imagine living here? :)
I could handle that!

Lori :)

hi lori.... i never saw these grand canyon/desert photos when i commented on your last photo. actually this is one place i would love to visit with my mountain bike and my camera.

it seems to be a classic red desert shot. regarding the little white spots that are homes, in my case, i usually clone that stuff out since they're almost unrecognizable anyway. i look at them as just big noise spots that i dont like.... but that's only personal preference.

keep up the good work ~ james

Dear Lori, this shots really nice. Beautiful colors and nice composition. Live there? Depends on who's running the place :~> Take Care, Mark PS.I think the tree works where it's at - kinda blends in.......

I wouldn't mind living there either; fabulous place to walk the dogs I would imagine :).

I like your composition inhere and the way you stuck that tree in the middle. It is not obtrusive, it just compliments the image.

Good colour and proportion, well done.

Regards,
Ciprian

Beautiful landscape shot, Lori. I agree with one of the others about the tree adding depth to the scene. I love those Arizona colors you've captured.

Wonderful landscape!! Super colors, great view and good composition... well captured!!! I agree with you that it would've been an even better shot if you could've 'replanted' the tree, but as it is it adds depth and you're better off with it than without it.... ;-D!!!

Hey NIGHTOWL!!! How are you??

Glad you like this part of the country. Just couldn't bring myself to go there at midnight though. LOL

This was a really nice trip for my husband and me. I enjoyed seeing this part of the country.

Hmmm...come to think of it, I did photograph a yellow wildflower there. And I actually thought of YOU!

Have a GR8 evening/day,
Lori :)

HI Jon,
Thank you so much, so glad you liked this one, I loved Sedona.

I've been fine Jon, thanks for asking. Have been really busy the past month or so. I am so behind in 'touching bases' with all my friends....
At the moment I have a bit more time, and it also looks as if UF isn't as slow as it was there for awhile.

Hope all is well with you also!!

Lori :)

And a great Palette it is too. The foreground tree might be better off to one side or the other but I think it does add depth and scale.
