About
These tiny damsels make for a difficult subject. They are only 1" long and always stay close to the ground. Getting a clean background is most difficult. They also wave in the slightest breeze, making a sharp image difficult to obtain. Yesterday the wind was calm and I had a good early morning diffused sunlight to shoot in, perfect. Image taken in the Bonnet Carre' Spillway in Norco, Louisiana.
The softness of the background is very captivating, the colour composition very appealing. Like the tele effect of separating the main object from the background here. Is it my screen but I think that your shots usually are sharper? Regards Jörg
Well you did GREAT Ronnie. This is superb, I've already made it a favorite. I really have to admire people that manage to come up with images like this.
I love it, perfect composition, colors are great! And the detail is AWESOME!!
