Thanks John, I am doing pretty good now from having a pacemaker put in over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Now I am the bionic man. I have an artificial shoulder and now a timer for the heart. Don.

John, I do like your version of the background on this picture. It does create and entirely different mood. With a close cropping it makes a stronger picture. If you leave the head image smaller it reduces the impact of the person in the frame. Thanks for your help John, most appreciated.

You can read a lot between the lines! She has a very interesting face and you were probably right to isolate her from the busy background because she is definitely a study in herself.

Hi John, here is the original picture as shot. I didn't want her to know that I was taking this picture as she was very close to me. I acted like I was taking a picture across the street and pointed the camera up. You will have to be the judge if this would make a good picture with the background darkened and the two people in it.

Hello again Don. Its a good portrait. I recognize the need to mute the background but this may be too much. The soft light sky effect works well with the soft light on the face but I wonder if lots of blur and a dip in brightness might have worked just as well and left a more believable background?
