From the thumbnail this looks like six small pink flowers - cool idea to shoot it 'through' the branches and leaves in the foreground! I like the backlighting of the petals, too!

The poem is very fitting of these wonderful colors Alison...Very bright and refreshing...I'm wondering how those white flowers would look as a macro..but I bet that would be difficult to shoot, you'd have to have the right lighting for sure. The minimal dof works well here...Well done...:):)Linda

This is wonderfully composed. I like the little spots of sunlight shining though the leaves. It has the essence of a spring morning.
