Thank you Hesham... It's nice to know you like my portfolio.

I love silhouette shots such as this... & as soon as I saw this I knew it would make an excellent addition to my portfolio... I was very Very lucky to get that bird... my camera is not the quickest & the zoom is not that good... luckily, for once, I managed to click just at the perfect moment.

Thanks again... your comment is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Alastair... your continued support is greatly appreciated... & thanks so much for the compliment on my latest work )

Your comments are great.. though not expected... I've been very busy myself lately & notice you have some fine work added to your portfolio also... though I have not commented on them all I have enjoyed looking at your work & reading your 'abouts'... you seem to travel around a great deal so your portfolio is very interesting & varied... keep up the great work.

I like your shots Sue, there is a special atmosphere about them that cast a sense of mystery. This one is a good example, the silhouette of the tree against the light is just perfect. You were lucky to get the oyster catcher taking off at that moment.

Cheers, Hesham

Wonderful, wonderful. A beautiful tree. The silhouettes and touch of colour are great. I like the way the bird and the brush on the right balance the tree. Love it.
For me, the bit of twig in the upper left introduces another element to the edge of the picture which I think distracts a little from the overall terrific compilation.

An exceptional shot Sue! Sorry I've not been commenting much of late but I've been away/working hard/busy etc of late so have tended to post a pic and run... feel embarassed now as a quick check of your portfolio shows me some excellent work I've been missing. I promise to comment on them later though...
I love the sly on this shot and the way the tree is backlit and falling into silhouette... I can se why you added the bird to it though... just to give a little something extra. If the bird had been silhouetted too I don't think people would have known it was a compilation of two images. Irrespective, its a great shot and the PS work is superb.

Well done!

Great shot! I love the silhouette of the tree... it looks beautiful. That bird is so clear... good job capturing it in mid flight, they could be so fast! Anyway... I love it! Excellent work! :)

lol... now that would be telling ;o)

Ah bless... the Oyster Catcher was brilliant timing.. alas the background too washed out & trees to blurry... this is two photo's made into one more interesting one... loved the silhouette of the tree when I saw it... & thought the 'duck' was a nice extra )

Thanks for the comment George... appreciated as always.

Wonderful composition, Sue, very compelling. Was the duck added or was your luck and your timing just perfect at the moment? ;-)

Regards,
