Quite interesting story. Beautiful picture George, with bldg framed nicely by trees, and man walking. Makes for good warm feeling to know there is personal history attached.

Everyone else has said everything already except that I notice the guy is wearing the same colours the lighthouse is wearing, agree with Sue; more of the Banyan trees please!

Thanks, Sue. The tree is a Banyan, a species that flourishes only in Florida and Hawaii. The largest have a root/trunk system that can fill an entire acre. Wonderful things . . . --g

Lovely shot George... those tree's to the side look very interesting... & shows a great perspective of this image... it's also great you have a man walking the top of the lighthouse... shows the true magnificence of the structure.

I love lighthouses! What a wonderful time your grandfather must have had as a child to have lived at the lighthouse with his stepfather. It's wonderful that there are so many organizations out there now that keep this lighthouse and others so well maintanied for all of us to enjoy. Great image George.
