About Was out this morning and it was a bit windy and I was in the shadows so I could not get a good clean capture without getting a faster shutter speed. So I thought I would experiment with the onboard flash. It's definately a different look from me and I kind of like it. The colors of this guy along with my F/2.8 aperture really looks cool.

Shutter Speed 1/200 sec.

james, very nice! so you discovered the built-in flash, huh? ;^) i too used to disdain flash until i discovered the magic of fill-flash and rear-sync. now i realize that the onboard flash is not much more than a toy. i had to upsize to a "real" flash unit since i mostly shoot wide-angle and the onboard tends to cast a shadow of the lens into the frame. worked great here, tho. can't beat long working distances.

take care,
tom

Hi Jim. I think the crop is perfect as it is. Don't change it.

I hope things start looking up for you....I am worried about you.

As for my website, I launched it last night. I wrote the details on my latest image 'Breaking Through'. But you can see it by going to www.judigraphics.com

Thanks Judi, a couple of folks suggested a tighter crop, what do you think? I think I would of lost the grass and the dof effect if I had. I agree he is small, but he really is:) LOL

Sorry for my lack of enthusiasm and comments lately. Just going through some tough times. I really do appreciate yours as it always brightens my day.

BTW, I think I heard a rumor on usefilm that you started a new web site. What gives? I wanna seeeee it:)

He looks so little and with those big eyes. Great work my friend.

Sometimes the flash is the only way to go.

Perhaps he is from another planet. :-) He looks strange. Perhaps crop a bit closer. It still should give you the effect you already have. :-)
