George, if I may comment... Back then, when the Moors reigned over most of what today is Spain, the notion of Spain, Spaniards and hispanity did not exist. A bunch of kingdoms and a lengthy period or land, not more... The Spain and the spaniards of today are the fruit of all those cultural influences, moors, jews and christians. In that sense, this beautiful building in Cordoba is indeed Spanish Heritage.

Beautiful arch and so beautiful capture of them! A secret door to slip through to escape light, sun or someone when playing seek and hide... or in where there?s something to find. Excellent!

Dear George,
In fact, what I found in South of Spain is very close to what I found in Middle East : lot of sames moods and habits let me think that traditions, fights, hopes change during the centuries run but at the end people keep their indepth culture ... and took great benefit from looking at its past like it does today.
Tribute to Spain

Dear Arwa,
Thanks for your comment. It is easier to frame when pilars are stopped in their run. But there you can still hear voices coming from an out of time part of your memory...

Curves and lines coming from centuries ago, fighting time and sand. And still the humancrafts are lasting...

Dear Galal,
Thanks for sharing your feeling. It is a sense of history and deep historical feeling which attracted me in this room from an ancient palace near Cordoba and lost in the middle of countryside. Silence, Birds, bees and sunshine of Andalucia. Time is passing and we are playing the game of life...

A beautiful image. I find the the play of color and design to be very pleasing to the eye. But I'll bet that the heritage here is really Moorish and not Spanish. The Spaniards adopted a greater numbers of styles from the Moors than did the Moors from the Spaniards.
