Betty, I must ask someone about the 'stone' - it's not the only one I've seen (though I remember another one as being green - rather like jade, or an imitation of it - so the colour can't be important).

Hi, Dave - Thanks for the comment. You can get a good idea of the size by looking at the companion pieces (such as 'In Proportion'). If I had the software, I'd mount 3 in a row, but that might ruin the point of this first posting!

Hi Len. Very nice pic. An interesting play on perspective and proportions. At a first, careless viewing, it looks like those are real elephants, making the statue absolutely humongous.
