About	Mirrium is a Secretary Bird that was hand reared after being taken from her nest. She wasn't fed correctly so will never be strong enough to be returned to the wild which is the ultimate. She is loved asnd cared for at our local raptor sanctuary.

Thank you my friend for your kind comments. I was the first visitor there with Mirrium and sat on the grass next to her cage talking to her. I think she was listening, well it looks like it hey? :-)

Perfect shot Alison. Another sad story but thank god for good people and the sanctuary which seems a wonderful place.

What an expression you've captured... Every time I look into the eyes of an animal it is hard to see a difference between us and them. Love how sharp the image is.
