Cute, very cute. Yes I would be cropping at least some of that bright shirt. Probably just below his collar to keep the emphasis on that great expression. Very nice lighting.

Doesn't bother me one bit, but would be wary of how it prints. LOVE the softness.

Honestly Pat, you don't need to copy anyone! That said, no harm in borrowing a few things here and there every once in a while..;)

This looks like a page from D.M.'s photo album (soft colors + sharp eyes)..;) Initially, the blown-out shirt bothered me a bit, but I think it works okay with the soft color in the rest of the frame; also, if there were a mat or frame that closed off the lower right corner of the photo visually, it wouldn't look so much like the white was "bleeding" out into the surrounding page like it does against the white UF web page. Whoa...excuse my dissertation! Nice image..:)

doesn't bother me at all -- lovely... i would however, clone out the white spot in the upper right corner next to his head. Nice angle, beautiful boy...

Wonderful photograph of an adorable little boy. The blown-out shirt doesn't bother me a bit - his blue eyes are so captivating that you look away from the shirt.
