About This was a difficult neg to print. It took a lot of dodging on the left side and burning on the right to get the right balance and put the emphasis on the eyes. The face of the boy on the right was brighter than the main subject. Of course, this was all done by magicaly waving my hands over the print during the exposure. Talk about low-tech.

Hmm.... the shadow depth of this one makes one yearn for film. This has a d-max that is very tough to duplicate with even the newest sensors, just my 2ç,

Wonderful perspective with an excellent use of DOF. I am amazed by knowing this a print also. It must be a very hard work compared to PC manipulation. Anyway, the presentation is excellent. regards.

I can believe the difficulties and I applaud the effort and the great result! I can only imagine the tremendous satisfaction you must have felt when such a beautiful image took form on the printing paper! It's truly memorable... and joins my favourites immediately.

Great work Ed! It is very nice balanced. It is people like you that made me go back to film after completely switching to digital. I hate dealing with negatives and dust, but the look is almost always worth it.
