Great patina. Good find of modern ruins. The pure white in the space between works very well. /H

My dear friend Rafi,
Hehehe, as a matter of fact, I am not quite sure what retrospective photography means, because I once heard it over a conversation with some friends. What I know about retrospective, based on a dictionary is:
applying to past events: applying to things that have happened in the past as well as the present
Microsoft® Encarta® Reference Library 2005. © 1993-2004 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
So, maybe by collecting pictures from the past and then compose it into one frame we could call it 'retrospective photograph'? Well, I don't know for sure...:) Sorry for the unclear explanation. I'll try to search it in other sources...:)
Take care, Rafi,
Hanggan

I was sure I had commented on this excellent photo, in which you hint at the neighbor but don't show him/her and was surprised to find out that my comment was not there. So now it will be.
Thank you, my dear friend Hanggan, for your very kind words about my "In Memoriam 1, 2 and 3."
Please explain to me what you mean by "retropspective photography"
Best regards,
Rafi

Hanggan this is a very moving photo..Definitely a story to be told and I think this picture tells it..The black and white is effective, because it adds to the sadness and the starkness of it. To think that there are people actually living in those kinds of conditions is very disturbing and to see it is a reminder.. thank you for sharing and also thank you for taking the time to comment on my image...I appreciate it.....all the best :) Linda

Thank you for your very kind comments on my "Figures 10, 11 and 12."
Best regards,

Interesting slice of private dwellings. Makes one wonder who lives there and what happens in their homes. A story to be told...

Excellent my friend. The picture tells a story that I'm unable to put out in words, there is a sense of abandonment and extreme poverty.

I'm glad you show us these views of your country in an honest and humane perspective.

All the best!

Francisco
