Thanks for commenting Tim.Not that great an element of luck in the making of this photo really;I'd spent the previous 2 weekends looking for a decent poppy field and I chose the time I wanted to be there.The farmer stopped to talk to me in the field and when I told him my idea for the photo he shot off to find me his best stallion!People are amazingly kind here.Thanks again,regards Tony

Oh yes....an absolutely great image!No one will ever capture the same thing. I do agree about the cropping with everyone else.....getting rid of the right side will give it such an upclose and personal touch.

Excellent capture, Tony, and the luck of being in the right place at the right time! I would perhaps crop so that the tree and farmer are not centered. For me the right side of the image, though pretty, is unnecessary and my eye wanders into it and gets lost. Nevertheless, a beautiful image. Regards.
