About Another try at PS - the purple background showed up when I did the paste - but it looked good complimenting the yellows in the flowers that I decided to leave it alone. What do you think?

Hi Tiff - thank you and the purple in the frame was the happy accident part that looked so good with the yellows that I decided to keep it. Jan

Very pretty Jan! I like the framing and the purple in the frame. Looks like you're having a lot of fun learning PS. I like the composition of the flowers, great colors!

Michael - I can certainly upload the original if you would like to see it and do a little PS play yourself. Let me know. Jan

Ellen - PS - this is one of the ones that allowed the background layer to show through when I did the cut and paste.

I tried different rotations and stayed with the original orientation as the heavier looking flowers were on the one side and towards the bottom. I may need to play with the original and try some other things - or can send you the original and you can play. ;-D Jan

Jan this is a great start it's beautiful. Excellent work. What would you think about rotating this 90 degrees CCW? I can't wait to see the others I'm excited.

Thanks Jen - I know that it is powerful and can do so much once you learn how. I have PS 7 - next is CS (Rob has that one) but they have just released Photoshop CS 2 - so I am a little behind here. It was a struggle doing this, but fun.

Jan - I really like this series! I like the frame. Maybe I need to invest in PS. :)

I think the framing works fine here, this seems to work well with flowers. In my opinion, I would have liked to see more of the flower on the right side of the frame.
There is alot you can do in PS, I am trying to learn the program myself. It seems to be unlimited on what you can do with it.

Best wishes
