About Last year I planted a lot of these (and orange ones). They are suppose to reseed - and probably would have if I hadn't started pulling "weeds". This is my sole survivor. Taken yesterday morning it had already fully opened for the day. (They close up at dusk here) This is fresh out of the camera - with just a frame and text added.

I used microsoft photo editor... (it was already on my PC)... and played with the balance of the blue channel (but it's still not completely right)...'ttthat's all folks'... ;-D!!

Third time was a charm - what did you do to reduce the blue tones. Go in to Hue/saturation and select the blue and play with it? Yours looks a lot crisper - guess I should play with PS more and tweak the photos instead of uploading as they come off the camera - so to speak. Thanks for the help Petal. Appreciate it. Jan

Nice macro!!! Good DOF and composition!! The only but I have is about the color: it's a bit blueish, I guess that's because you took it early in the morning... The way to avoid this is overexposing one step (or playing with the levels, but then you might not be able to get it 'right'..). Hope you don't mind but I had a go at it....
