About This project turned out to be more difficult that I first thought! But its fantastic! It helped us all to develop an eye for the ordinarily unusual
Heres another try! Guess what it is ;)
A lot of you will know it but here it goes!
Any suggestions of how to improve it or how would your own different style effect it are appreciated feel free to manipulate it, work it in PS anything and show me the results
PS works, contrast and added blue to show off the original color of the wood resized

P.S.
The party was so cool! Wish you all were here! im still catching up on the comments ;)

Arwa,
I like this shot and also all the different versions! I agree alternative perspective is tough.... But this is a nice architecture shot (one of my favourite themes!)
regards,
omar

Hi Arwa,

while the image fits well into the project, my deep feeling is: you may do better. =)

it's just a feeling, you know.

I like the final edited version. Nothing much left I see for improvment, but how about if we bring out the texture of the wall in the back behind the opening. I also sepia toned it. Do you think it looks better?

oh, I am sorry dear Arwa, I didnot understand your point of view! Now after I saw the entire Portal, I like very much the Crop made by Cessy, or something like that!
or just to move, like left from the portal and to try to photography the entire portal but horizontaly! oh, just some ideas, but Cessy`s crop is great!
So I am sure dear Arwa that you will find the best way for you sweety!
Kisses and hugs,
B:)liana

I like Cessy's crop of your photograph. But I wouldn't crop the bottom part, it's needed to keep the image balanced. Cheers, Andree

Nice structure and contrasting in forms dear Arwa!
I like the lines, but I would probably try another angle, so to have less of this first plan fance!

k...my first take is that it is symbolic of the wall that is coming down. The one that went up temporarily a few days ago. It is so good to see you are back my dear friend. It lifts my heart. Hugs. Antonia

Khashab Boghdadly in Islamic style.
Good perspective Arwa, I agree with you that this project is more difficult than it appears to be.
Good work,
Khaled.

Hallo Arwa
I am really glad u r back :)
your works on the project really excellent. very nice architecture here and nice idea for alternate perspective.
I am just wondering if it looks a little bit simpler composition, sorry I took your photo and played a bit with it . I just cropped the right side and add some contrast. maybe it's different what you have in mind :)

Hello paul thank you for your honest feedback my friend
Its not a sliding door and theres no doors in the background
Your right it is too busy, thank you I?ll try to use you suggestion

hmm...almost looks like a sliding gate for an old elevator or something...I like the abstract look but it seems a bit busy to me...maybe if you focused on a smaller part of the fence/gate it would be better...I do like that you can see the door in the background, adds some depth..

Good shot Arwa! My guess would be some decorative litticework or some sort of a old folding gate????
Of course, looking through to some windows. Ok wait a minute......................how about an old elevator and this is the folding door????
Thats My best guesses!.............How did I do??
Great photo for the project Arwa! My best...............John

It was taken in a museum I couldn?t move it, and thought that it adds an extra layer and depth so it doesn?t work ha? This project is really hard!!! I admire all those who have an eye for it and got a BIP!!!
