About I spotted this little girl at Foxfield Horse Races yesterday, oh how I wanted to plop down next to her & join in the fun! I love a child who's not afraid to get dirty. My mother tells tales of how she could never keep me clean! heehee...
I desaturated a bit in PS just because I thought it added to the feel of the pic. Childhood remembered! Ahhhh! Thanks for looking! Dottie

Good catch my friend...
I agree with you that the desaturation added to the mood of the photo my friend... more muddy :0)
Best regards,
Khaled.

Absolutely wonderful, just the right colouring/tones to make it extra special. Lucy was helping with the gardening Saturday, I can imagine her like this when she is a bit older

the desaturation worked wonderfully. this is a precious picture and looks like my grandaughters.
I would bet the mother would like a copy of this.

Great presentation! I like the muted tones. I am sure we all have memories similar to this scene. Collecting the ingrediants for some excellent mud pies I am sure.... A classic! The boots put the shot over the top!

hi,lady!..haven't been around lately so now trying to catch up whenever i have a moment...reminds me of when i used to make "mud pies" in the street ditches...sweet find and very well executed/presented..the slight desat makes it look like a hand tinted image and suits it!..hugs,gayle (will email soon)

Dot, this is splendid. Love the whole thing - funny how we are mud rats as kids, where did that feeling go? Now, can't stand any feeling of messiness on my hands. I think the desaturation adds to the timelessness of the photo. Well done and seen my friend!
