I like the background together with the skin tone, the clothes and so .... i also like the light and the flash you used. Instead of flash you could also try a reflector.... Good portrait anyway!!! :)

I think I'd crop the same way as before, outside the arm, just inside the shoulder and just below the knuckles. The eyes are tilted on the same compositional bias for that same effect.
