orientation, detail (focus) and color are all exceptional.. fantastic image,, it caught my eye, and keeps it entertained.

He was a little more colorful than you're average hopper, but that was enhanced by the fact that he had a thin layer of dew on him after I took him out of the fridge (gasp! i know, hehe). Its beginning to occur to me that I should note when I use photoshop to alter images as heavily as this, I just didn't like it the way it appeared on the slide (soft, the title, refers to a slight mushiness from my wiggly pod and the slow shutter speed), alot of unsharp mask and levels did wonders on this. That's actually the black* hood of my car catching afternoon light, as the background.

this grasshopper is amazing I`ve never seen one with a metallic finish like this - is it real or did you do something to it in photoshop? The background looks like glass not grass-what exactly have you done here ?
