About I have been waiting for this particular plant to bloom for a couple of weeks now. This morning my husband told me to grab my camera because they were finally blooming. As I was trying to get a good shot of the bloom I spied this bee. I was so excited because these little guys have been so hard to capture!

very nice Jennifer....guess it could have been cropped to get more attention to your bee friend.
I usually don't spent much time playing around with other people's photo's ( I understand the passion thing..been spending much more time on photography than with my regular job)
anyway hope you don't mind my 'photo-shopping' you little friend....

dont recogneze the plant but you did great with the bee. I will agree bees and butterfys are harder than birds.
you did great for being so excited.

Good focus and colours Jennifer. Maybe a little too much in the frame. Try cropping off some of the left hand side and the bottom of the frame to improve the dynamic of the composition. Regards John
